Vacuum chucks are generally made of various rubber, plastics and metals.The glass lifters we often see are made of NR, NBR, SI, FKM, PUR, NE, EPDM, SE and other rubber.  Characteristics of vacuum glass lifter           
 1.  Vulnerability to wear and tear. Because it is usually made of rubber and directly touches objects, it wears badly, so it wears quickly. It is a pneumatic fragile part. It is for this reason that it is so remarkably highlighted from the many pneumatic components.           

 2.  Easy to use. No matter what material the object is sucked into, it can be used as long as it can be sealed and air-tight. Electromagnetic chuck can not be used, it can only be used in steel, other materials of plate or object can not be absorbed.             

 3.  No pollution. Vacuum glass lifters are particularly environmentally friendly, and do not pollute the environment. There is no light, heat, electromagnetic and other generated.            

 4,  Do not hurt the workpiece. Vacuum glass lifter is made of rubber material, so it will not cause any damage to the workpiece if the workpiece is sucked or put down. However, hook-type and cable-type hangers are not feasible. In some industries, the surface requirements of workpieces are particularly stringent, they can only use glass lifters.             

In the case of EOAT using glass lifter, it should be noted that the moving speed of the manipulator should not be too high, otherwise a shear force will be generated on the vacuum glass lifter, which will make the product fall easily in the process of rapid torsion. In some cases, a clamp can be used to ensure safe delivery of the product. Considering the possibility of products adhering to the die, it is usually possible to install an air clamp to solve this problem. When the surface area of the product is too small or the product  is too heavy to use the vacuum glass lifter, the same problem can be solved by using clamps.           

 If the product is very strict with appearance, then the clamped part can not be the external surface. To solve this problem, a sensor circuit can be installed. After confirming that the clamp or glass lifter has secured the product, the sensor sends a signal to the manipulator to enable it to perform the next operation. The problem can be improved by adding a special cylinder which can move the  EOAT alone instead of depending on the manipulator operation when the manipulator's motion ability is limited and it needs to be twisted or tilted  manually to demould the product or move the product and EOAT out of the forming  area.
 With the increasing enthusiasm of many tobacco enterprises for product automation logistics system in recent years, palletizing robots are also increasingly used. In order to complete such a high efficiency palletizing operation, it is necessary to make the robot run at a very high speed, at the same time, to ensure the stability of the smoke box grasping in the palletizing process,  which poses a severe challenge to the design of glass lifter.            

 The biggest characteristic of large area vacuum glass lifter is large suction capacity. It adopts the principle of multiple small holes. Each small hole is an independent glass lifter, and when any small hole does not touch the workpiece or leaks a lot, it can automatically close to maintain the vacuum of the glass lifter and produce the maximum increase of grasping force, thus ensuring the high-speed operation of the robot.
