​Handbook for Hydraulic Jack Workers

Before using hydraulic jack, you should read the following precautions. Understand operation will cause injury to personnel and equipment.            

 1.  Users must have relevant qualifications and experience in skilled operation of hydraulic equipment.            

 2.  Before using, please check the hydraulic jack, joint and tubing carefully. If any joint, tubing, thread and hydraulic jack are damaged, please stop using immediately and contact factory or local distributor as soon as possible.            

 3.  In order to prevent personal injury, please do not modify or refit the hydraulic jack without authorization.            

 4.  When using, do not exceed the rated load of hydraulic jack. Overload will cause equipment failure and personal injury.            

 5.  The maximum pressure used in the design of general hydraulic jacks is 700 bar (10,000 psi). Do not use high-pressure pumps and valves which are higher than the rated pressure of hydraulic jacks to connect hydraulic jacks. Excessive pressure will cause equipment failure and personnel injury.            

 6.  Hydraulic jack is used as lifting work and can not be used as support. After lifting or descending objects are completed, they need to be supported by mechanical means immediately. Personnel should not work under the weight supported by hydraulic jack.             

 7. In order to prevent personal injury, keep hands and feet away from the working area of hydraulic jack when operating equipment.             

 8.  Make sure the weight is stable before it can start lifting. The incorrect load will cause equipment failure and personal injury.

 9.  When operating hydraulic jacks, please wear safety eyeshades, safety hats and other necessary personal protective equipment that meet the national standards.            

 10.  When using a hydraulic jack, you need a solid support plane. Please use steel plates or strong and suitable wood blocks to support the bottom of the hydraulic jack.            

 11.  Use pressure gauges when operating hydraulic jacks. Pressure gauges can help you monitor the hydraulic pressure in the system and prevent personal injury and property loss caused by exceeding the rated pressure.            

 12.  Please connect or replace the hydraulic jack equipment in a clean environment to prevent dust or other garbage from entering the hydraulic jack and tubing. Dust and garbage will damage the hydraulic jack and cause equipment failure and potential personnel injury.            

 13.  Before connecting the hydraulic jack, please check the thread of the joint to  make sure that the thread is not damaged. Thread damage will lead to oil leakage at the joint and potential personal injury.            

 14.  Individual hydraulic jacks need to be placed on a stable base. Use hydraulic  jack base to increase the stability of hydraulic jacks.

 16.  Hydraulic jacks need professional hydraulic oil. Please use professional hydraulic oil or hydraulic oil approved by the company.
