Batch of Manual Hoist 1T with 3 meters chain

In our last batch of Manual Hoist 1T with 3 meters chain we need to stop to sell because the chain that makes the hoist Hook go up or down is locked at the factory, see the attached vídeos.

We test some other sizes of manual hoist and didnt happen the same.

We have more than 100 manual hoist in stock and we need a solution. Why is it happening this ?

RAMHOIST: Pls check whether others has this problem? the hand chain can be pulled in normal condition and can not happen for 100 manual hoist.

the reason for not pulling is gear broken or it is stuck.

pls pull back and make the chain smooth, then pull again, see whether it can be solved? thanks

拉不动就是齿轮坏了或者那里卡住了 

看一下链条顺着呢没有, 拉不动往回拉拉, 顺顺在正着拉,顺一下链条, 是都能拉的, 一个升, 一个降, 正常 空载 左右都可以。

Customer: I have more than 10 pieces.

In  Manual hoist 1T with 5 meters chain we dont have problems, we already sold out, waiting new order arrive here in Brazil but the other models specialy  manual chain models: 1T with 3 meters; 0,5T with 3 meters; 0,5T with 5 meters its causing problems and the customers are returning to us.

Are the manual hoists facotry tested?  Is it possible they are coming with gear stuck?

In transportation process to customer can be happening problems with the gear? I

Here we dont open all the hoists for checking we send to customers like they came from Ramhoist.

We made tests and with cant solve the problem we need to open the hoist body to see what is happen with the gear.

Can you send me a video with how to solve the problem?

Here in company we didnt get to unlock the manual hoist.

I will call a mechanic technic to check this problems.

Anyway the manual hoist cant come with this problem of factory( gear stuck).  We sell this product in a big marketplace( MERCADO LIVRE) in Brazil and we are losing money and prestige with these problems. Our  qualification is falling and we arent able to sell well because the product has a manufacturing defect.

We still have stock for some sizes and the problem continues we  will need to stop the sell of all sizes. We cant get loosing money with our stock stopped.

After technical comes and check what we can do to solve the problem here in the company I will send you our consider. Just for information, below is the amount of stock we have of each hoist yet:

RAMHOIST: Have you smooth the hand chain as i told you before (pls do as below), then the problem will be solved.

each hoist is tested ok before delivery, we have made so many of this hoist but few has the problem you told.

could you check more hoists and see whether they have this problem, then take videos including gear for our reference, to solve the problem.

Below its a detail repport about manual hoist analized by our mechanic.

We used two manual hoist with 1TON capability and 3 meters chain to make the tests, see the identification plate below:

We used a standard pallet, with some products inside, with total weight of approximately 500Kg.

The machanic had to do a lot of effort to try to lift the pallet with the hoist.

Its just a 500kg pallet and the manual hoist has a capacity to lift  1000 kg according your specification.

This situation can not happen, the manual hoist must work much lighter and without chain locking. Its impossible a manual hoist that must support 1000kg can not lift even 500kg.

After to trying to lift the pallet the mechanic open the  manual hoist to see whats happen.

The mechanic pointed out serious gaps in all the components of the product, mainly:

- Gears with slack, they vibrate a lot, which must be causing the chain to lock and making it very heavy at the time of lifting the load.

- There are no adjustment bushings to take the slack of the parts.

- Gearbox is inefficient.

We are very frustraded with the quality of  this product. and we have a order coming still this month with more manual hoist.

How we can solution this problem? We cant get loosing money with our stock stopped.

 RAMHOIST: We analyse the reasons below:

1, For standard pallet, with some products inside, with total weight of approximately 500Kg-----have you weighed it is 500kg or more than 500kg, from the video you sent us, We think it is more than 500kg and overload.

if overload, the brake pad will be easily broken and we think the brake pad is already broken.

2, Is the hoist in your video new or old after using some time?

3, the hand chain is too far from the ground, normally push to the point of waist (about 1m from the ground), pls check the video and do as it shows in this link: https://youtu.be/-KrEyyH1jpI

while in your video you push to neck to head point, thus will take more strength and hard to pull.
