OSHA standard for wire rope sling, the new major changes has happened now.
 Today, no matter what material sling needs to be permanently labeled. This is the new OSHA standard for wire rope sling. As part of the third phase of the standard improvement project, the project is to improve the criterion of simplifying OSHA. The emergence of many standards has led to confusion in rules and even duplication, resulting in many differences. Many regulations have not been applied to the world of today. And the drawback is that they have copied something in every regulation. We can learn from many parts that everything must have a capacity label. I think the easier way to read is They can separate a chapter to explain the substances needed by some devices, rather than the ingredients contained in them. In this way, every time we read different parts, we will not read the same content again and again, and economize a lot of time.
 In July 8, 2011, there are several new changes in the capacity label and the shackle mark of the sling.
 In the past, only the sling had a chart showing the carrying capacity. But synthetic sling and wire rope slings are not shown in graphs.
 There are a few new changes …
 ·The load capacity table in the previous OSHA standard was deleted.
 ·The suspender used by the employer must have a mark that will never disappear, indicating the maximum bearing capacity of the sling.
 ·Each sling shackle has rated label.
 Because of the original rules didn't change, it was easier to understand.There's a whole set of regulations that I've modified.In order to facilitate  reading I separate the rules and combine them.
 ·The employer does not load a sling with excess load on a marked sling.
 ·The employer cannot use a sling without a label.
 ·The alloy chain sling also has some rules.

·The alloy steel chain sling must be removed at a temperature of more than 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit.When the temperature exceeds 600 degrees Fahrenheit, the employer must reduce the maximum allowable workload of the manufacturer according to the corresponding requirements.
 ·Effect of wear. The employer must remove from the chain if any point is less than the specified size.
 ·The employer must ensure the following.
 ·Label and indicate the load of the suspension according to the regulations.
 ·No labels are used and cannot exceed the load in the process of use.
 ·Employers should pay attention to chain wear.However,No more than five percent stretch.Remove the chain from the service with maximum allowable wear.

Wire rope slings
 In the whole revisal, wire rope slings have the meaningful transform. In advance of this wire rope slings did't want a capacity label. Below is the revised rules for wire rope slings.

 §  1915.112 Ropes, chains, and slings.
 ·About  Manila rope and Manila rope sling .The employer must make sure that the Manila rope and the Manila rope sling are used to carry these things: A label that can be  permanently identified by manufacturer. The label is marked with the maximum  weight that the rope can bear and the weight value recommended by the merchant.  The employer shall not exceed the value specified by the manufacturer .If there is no translation of the (A)(1)section of this article .The employer can't use a label attached to the rope.
 In life, handcuffs and hooks are easier to be ignored than other lifting devices.  In order to ensure workers' safety and prevent any accidents, handcuffs and hooks are also strictly stipulated. This is the latest law about the 1915.13  Shackles and Hooks.
 ·The handcuffs used by employers must ensure that they are permanently identifiable. The number of markers indicate the maximum load recommended by the producers.
 ·The maximum number of producers proposed can not exceed the weight.
 ·No handy labels can be used on the handcuffs.
 The last rule I saw was about the handling of general operating equipment. This is a set of equipment that was not previously found in the previous regulations. These equipment include any of the following rigging .The following regulations are for the material handling equipment.
 ·The employer must ensure that the equipment has the following points.
 ·On the maker posted permanent identification tag .The tag has a safety load value.
 ·The load should not exceed the safe working load value marked on the label by the  manufacturer.
 ·No equipment can be used without permanent label.
 ·The employer is unable to overload the use of alloy steel chain sling.
