Hydraulic cylinder and its big function in crane

This article on hydraulic cylinders used in crane will consider the most important scientific principle of maximizing lift force and mechanical advantage.
A hydraulic cylinder is simply a sealed cylinder, or a circular prism that is full of some kind of liquid, usually a kind of oil, with two pistons on both sides of the cylinder with two openings. This is the structure that connects various structures to the cylinder.
Suppose there is a piston in a hydraulic cylinder with the same size and no friction. Once a piston is pressed down, the other will rise up and rise with equal force, speed and distance. So, if the piston is compressed downward, the distance should be equal to the distance from the other piston upward.
It can be easily redirected that force is the advantage of such a system. As we see with pulleys and levers, other machines are not allowed to convert in a vertical direction, but the piston of a horizontal connection can move the other vertically. The force of the lever and the pulley in the crane moves up some forces, and the upward force can also move down the downward force, and  the movement of the left and right directions is the same principle. But the hydraulic cylinder is different, you force in one direction, this force will be transmitted to any possible direction.
In addition to changing direction, similar to lever and roller skating, by maximizing torque, hydraulic cylinders can also be used to increase  force. Suppose there are two pistons, the area of the big piston is 6 square units, the small piston has 2 square units, and the larger piston will have 3  times the force of the small piston. For example, if the 2 square unit piston is pushed down with 500 pounds of force, the 2 square unit is changed to a piston of 6 square units, which will be driven by 1500 pounds of force. But  smaller pistons are 3 times more mobile than big ones.
The use of a crane for a hydraulic cylinder is the same as a lever and a pulley. The operation of a crane is always used in some form or way to improve the efficiency of a hydraulic cylinder. The hydraulic cylinder has the advantages of direct lifting load and so on. It can also be used to relieve the pressure of crane arm or beam.
Therefore, in the application of cranes, whether it is hydraulic cylinders or pulleys and levers, the use of torque in cranes is very frequent.  But because the hydraulic cylinder is different from the lever pulley, it can disperse the force to different directions of the object and dissolve the force. If you use leverage at the same time, pulleys and hydraulic cylinders can maximize mechanical advantage, especially when upgrading large objects. Next we will discuss the advantages and applications of Longmen cranes.
